"It may perhaps be pleasant,'' Charlotte

If you haven't read this link you should.  An Artist takes Disney stories and turns them upside down, or paints them in the most negative and NO HAPPY ENDING LIGHT, that ever ended. The pictures raise several interesting and provocative questions about ethnicity and exceptionalism in the United States. As an American Studies Major, we as Americans are constantly looking for some type of dream to become realities in our lives. I know I have found myself doubting my status when I don't constantly feel the exceptionalist dream.  Overall the piece made me wonder to what extent American exceptionalism has on identities, specifically in the plot or storyline of our identities.
